Cagliari, Mediterranean light!

Cagliari welcomes you with its 3000 years of history. We recommend a visit to the four historic quarters: Castello, Villanova, Stampace and Marina. You can admire beautiful views from the Bastion of San Remy, and we invite you to discover the beautiful Molentargius park, a few km from the city center (site managed by the FAI). An hour from Cagliari is the imposing Nuraghe of Barumini (UNESCO) and the Phoenician and Roman city of Nora, by the sea. If you love contemporary art, we recommend the museum town of San Sperate, home of Maestro Sciola.

150 km of coastline and beaches, from Villasimius to Porto Pino

Choose the Baylle hotel and discover the South Coast by boat or by land. To the east you will find the beautiful beaches of Villasimius, and along the scenic route you will discover the beaches of Capitana, Cala Regina and Mari Pintau. If you take the western coast road you will admire the white beaches of Chia and Tuerredda along the road leading to the important dunes of Porto Pino and Capo Teulada.

the free heart of Sardinia, nature reserves and parks

During the spring in Cagliari, we suggest you visit the Molentargius park where you can come into close contact with the largest resident colony of pink flamingos in the Mediterranean. The park is not only a valuable wetland oasis, it is a precious gym offered by Nature where you can glide in

a canoe along its canals and walk along the paths bordering the salt lagoons, breathing healthy air, rich in iodine. If you love nature and adventure, let yourself be surprised by the WWF Oasis of Monte Arcosu and the forests of Piscina Manna and the Sette Fratelli park, oasis of the Sardinian deer and fallow deer.

Cagliari, sun and sea all year-round

The Sardinian sun shines on Cagliari almost all year round, but that's not all: spending leisure time outdoors is a natural vocation of the city. Choose the itinerary you prefer, from the Ichnusa pier of the 'old port', follow the coastline through the fishermen's village of Sant'Elia and from there towards the Calamosca lighthouse, to then reach the Sella del Diavolo and the beautiful Poetto beach.
